Account settings

Profile, security, preferences, billing, connections, and teams.

Open Settings from your account menu. The sidebar groups your settings into Account, Agents & connections, and Team. To jump straight to a setting, type in Search settings at the top of the sidebar (or press / or ⌘K).

Account

Profile

  • Display name: up to 80 characters. Choose Save name.
  • Email: shown read-only. To change it, email admins@trycodev.com.
  • Download your data: Download account details exports your data.
  • Delete account: asks for a code we email you (valid for 15 minutes), then for you to type DELETE.

Security

  • Password: change it, or have a reset link emailed to you. Accounts that signed up with Google or GitHub can add a password with Email me a link to create a password.
  • Two-factor authentication: choose Set up authenticator app and scan the code. You get 10 recovery codes; generate fresh ones with New recovery codes. You need a password before you can turn on two-factor authentication.
  • Sign-in methods: Google, GitHub, and email and password. Choose Connect to add one.
  • Browser sessions: every browser where you're signed in. Sign out one, or all the others.
  • CLI and app logins: logins from the CoDev CLI, valid for 90 days. Changing your password signs all of them out.
  • Connected apps: apps such as ChatGPT or Claude that you allowed to use CoDev. Disconnect any of them.
  • Security activity: your account's security activity from the last 180 days. Security changes are also emailed to you.

Preferences

Choose your theme: System, Light, or Dark. It's saved in that browser.

CoDev emails you about a workspace only while you aren't in it, and at most once per workspace every 15 minutes. Under Email notifications you can turn each one on or off:

  • Your agent finished
  • Your queued message started
  • Waiting for your approval
  • Someone joined your workspace
  • Your workspace stopped while idle

Weekly digest is off by default. Desktop alerts are turned on per browser, from a workspace's Settings → General.

Billing

Your credit wallet, plan, top-ups, and usage. See Credits and plans.

Agents & connections

AI Provider Accounts

Connect the AI accounts your agents use under Other ways to connect: connect a Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor subscription from your terminal with the CoDev CLI, or use an API key instead.

Each provider also shows Use my CoDev credits (Claude and Codex) and your Agent token usage for this month and last month. See Work with AI agents.

Environment Variables

Values your agents get automatically. See Environment variables.

Integrations

GitHub access for your workspaces. Once you've linked GitHub under Security → Sign-in methods, this page shows Connected · @your-login. Manage repository access opens GitHub, where you choose which accounts, organizations, and repositories CoDev may open. See Git, GitHub, and pull requests.

Team

Team is where you create a team, rename it, invite members by email, manage roles and pending invitations, and read the team's activity. Once you're on a team, Team billing subscribes the team to Teams, changes its seats, and shows its credits and invoices, and Priority support sends us a request, answered within 1 business day. See Teams.
