Run CoDev in your own cloud
For Teams and Enterprise: host CoDev in a cloud account you own, with no CoDev staff access.
Companies on Teams or Enterprise can run CoDev in a cloud account they own instead of CoDev's. You host everything, and CoDev staff have no access to your workspaces, code, or data unless you grant it.
What runs in your account
Everything that holds your work:

You also own the accounts CoDev depends on, such as your organization's GitHub App and your email sender. We help you set each one up.
What CoDev staff can reach
Nothing, by default. We keep no standing login, key, or administrator role in your account.
If you want our help, for example with an upgrade or a problem, you grant us access for that task: you choose who, what, and for how long, and you revoke it when we're done. Your cloud provider's activity log records what we do.
AI agents
Agents use your company's own AI accounts: your members' Claude, Codex, or Cursor subscriptions, or API keys you add. Prompts and code go from your cloud straight to your AI provider and never pass through CoDev.
Updates
We publish each CoDev release. Your team installs it when it suits you, or grants us time-limited access to install it with you.
Requirements
- A Microsoft Azure subscription your company owns. Workspace machines run on Azure's ARM64 Linux VMs. Ask us about other clouds.
- A Teams or Enterprise agreement. Pricing for a self-hosted setup is agreed with you.

How it compares
On CoDev's cloud, a small number of CoDev operators could technically reach your data, and our Staff access policy limits when they may. In your own cloud, only the people you choose can. See Security and privacy for the full comparison.
